Hotel Review: Rosewood Mayakoba in Cancun, Mexico

I have stayed in some incredible hotels throughout the years but I have to say that the Rosewood Mayakoba hotel situated just outside of Cancun, Mexico, is absolutely incredible. Every aspect of the hotel is luxurious, all rooms are like mini villas and come with either a pool or plunge pool, and most importantly with a view!

What makes this hotel unique is that on one side you have a lagoon that runs through the hotel and on the other you have a stunning crystal white beach. Some villas have views of both. If you have a lagoon view room, you can move around the hotel on one of the luxurious boats on offer, otherwise you will have to make do with one of the many golf carts that are constantly zooming around.

I wouldn’t say I am picky (compared to some of my friends that is) but the service was absolutely faultless. I have never met such nice people, and nothing was ever too much!

I definitely hope to go back soon!

P.S. – Be aware there are crocodiles in the lagoon, so stick with your private pool. However, the closest I got to a crocodile was an iguana I saw crossing the path as I went to lunch one day.
